New digital hub positions E5 as the go-to educational resource for nano silica-based concrete solutions

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – E5 Incorporated, the global leader in colloidal silica nanotechnology for concrete, today announced the launch of its new website, www.e5nanosilica.com, designed as a comprehensive educational resource for the construction industry.

With more than 18 million yards of concrete placed using E5 Internal Cure, E5 has helped optimize hydration, lower permeability, and significantly improve the service life of concrete across a wide range of applications. Through this optimized hydration and internal curing, E5enabled projects have already saved over 42,000 tons of cement, reducing embodied CO₂ while also eliminating traditional wet curing on many projects. This has translated into more than 10,000 days of time savings for concrete finishers and contractors by enabling earlier slab access and faster construction schedules.

The new E5 website will serve as the go-to educational resource for the use of colloidal nanosilica in concrete for:

  • Project owners and developers
  • Architects and structural engineers
  • General contractors and construction managers
  • Ready-mix producers
  • Concrete finishers and flooring contractors

Through technical content and documented research studies, case studies, and practical guidance, the site explains why nanosilica technology is the future of high-performance, sustainable concrete. While not every challenge in concrete can be solved (and may never be given the multiple contributors to concrete performance), E5, Inc. has driven meaningful progress in:

  • Improved finishability
  • Enhanced workability
  • Reduced pumping pressures
  • Increased durability and service life
  • Reduced shrinkage and cracking risk
  • Optimized moisture mitigation and waterproofing
  • More sustainable, lower-carbon concrete solutions

“E5 exists to educate, inform and partner with the concrete industry with the goal of creating concrete that is both sustainable and high performing,” said Joe Shetterley, CEO of E5Incorporated. “Our mission is to help owners, designers, producers and contractors understand how nanosilica-based internal curing can consistently make their concrete more durable, more sustainable, and more predictable—project after project. E5’s new website advances that mission and provides a platform for sharing the data, lessons learned, and best practices we’ve gained from placement in millions of yards of concrete in the field.”

E5’s technology has been successfully implemented worldwide in corporate and retail environments, schools and campuses, entertainment venues and stadiums, government buildings, bridges, roadways, critical infrastructure, wastewater facilities, and healthcare complexes. Some of the nation’s largest warehouses and data centers have also turned to E5 to achieve denser, higher performing slabs with substantially improved surface abrasion resistance.

INTRODUCING: THE E5 REWARDS PROGRAM

E5 is also launching the E5 Rewards Program, designed for concrete finishers and contractors. For every yard of concrete poured using E5 Internal Cure, registered participants accumulate points that earn them the right to receive free high-quality finishing equipment. Registered users can track yardage usage, monitor progress, and select rewards that best support their projects. The program is also designed to raise awareness for The Giving Hope Foundation, dedicated to helping families of persons with disabilities.
