Are traditional approaches powerless against the 1L cement challenge?
Join us at Purdue University’s concrete research and development site for a hands-on exploration of curing methods for today’s advanced concrete mix designs. This live event will examine the performance of traditional water curing, curing compounds, and E5 Nano Silica Internal Curing Admixtures.
The demonstration will feature a full-scale placement of a bridge deck using standard pump and Bidwell finishing equipment. In the morning session, participants will observe best practices in concrete finishing, including techniques specified by INDOT.
The afternoon will include guided walkthroughs of the curing test sections, a technical overview of the INDOT Class C mix design, a panel discussion with industry experts, and the introduction of data collection methods and performance monitoring presented by Purdue University.
