Technical Data & Application

E5® Internal Cure is highly effective on its own or when combined with other E5® admixtures. If using multiple admixtures, it is critical to add each one individually to the concrete mix to ensure the fullest efficacy. The product has been tested by a third-party lab and qualifies for use as a concrete curing compound in accordance with ASTM C156-20.

Dosage

For all concrete applications, it is recommended that concrete trial mixes be conducted to determine the correct dosage rate.

Mixing

For best results, E5® Internal Cure should be introduced to the concrete mixer at the ready-mix location. It is recommended that the combined materials be mixed for approximately 70 revolutions.

Storage

It should be stored in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry location between 40°F and 130°F (4°C and 54°C). The shelf life is 18 months in its original unopened container. It must be protected from freezing, direct sunlight, and UV exposure.
